MTA WORLD FOUR-STROKE CHAMPIONSHIPS THIS SUNDAY: The 22nd Annual Event On Sunday, April 26; All The Classes, Big Hills And A National Warm-Up Race; Plus The New National Track Will be Revealed; Yes, It Will Be Going Backwards; Which Is The Old Forward

Pre-Entries are now online at www.glenhelen.com for the 22nd annual MTA World Four-Stroke Motocross Championship at Glen Helen Raceway on Saturday, April 26, 2009.

It is easy to say that the World Four-Stroke has lost its importance in a world that in dominated by thumpers, but that misses the point. This is a classic race that harks back to the good old days. Even though the idea of a four-stroke race seems old-fashioned, this is also a warm-up race for the first AMA 250/450 National of the year. It is the first time that Glen Helen will reveal the majority of the National track (and the 2009 Glen Helen National track will be different than last year's track--in big ways) and the first chance for aspiring AMA National riders to race the track. Plus, there is a $6000 purse for the Open Pro race (which is a run what ya brung class). There is also a $1500 purse for the Quad Pro class.

This is not just a pro race, but has classes for all the regular local classes from Novice through Vet. You can save time, plus you save $5 for pre-entry. Pre-entries are online at www.glenhelen.com for all amateur and Pro classes.
