Both events will be held at Glen Helen Raceway in San Bernardino, CA. Founded in 1977, the MTA World Four-Stroke Championships grew into a premier event in the era before the modern four-stroke and has only increased with the advent of the CR-F, YZ-F, KX-F, RM-Z and SX-F. More than 800 racers competed in last years’ two day event and for 2008, the 250 and 450 Pro classes will be racing for a $10,000.00 Pro purse. In addition, the MTA World Four-Stroke Championship is also round 2 of the AMA Western 4-Stroke World Nationals. First held in 1985, the MTA World Vet MX Championship has grown into the largest Vet MX race in the world with nearly 1000 entries in 2007. A $10,000.00 Pro purse will be up for grabs this year and you can bet the fastest Vet racers from all over the world will be there battling for the title of 2008 MTA World Vet MX Champion.
