Federal Aviation Authority approval is a plan
for the Glen Helen 250/450 National to have
double aerobatic air shows going on at the same
time on September 9, 2007. This would be, not
just a National first, but according to air show
performer Doug Jardine, an airshow first. “I
don't think two different performers have every
done their routines at the exact same time in
the same air space.” Jardine in his Sukhoi and
Ron Harrison in his Zlin have performed for the
Glen Helen crowd in the past, but always on the
west side of the track.
